Hi, I’m Hedi.
I’m a mum based in Budapest, and I’ve spent the last several years quietly obsessing over two things: eating well without making it complicated, and understanding what actually works for women’s health after 40, not what the wellness industry wants us to buy, but what the science and real kitchen experience actually support.
CaelunaLife started as a personal project. I wanted somewhere to document what I was learning, testing, and cooking: a space that felt honest rather than aspirational, grounded rather than glossy.
I have a deep love for Asian flavours: the layered spicing, the umami depth, the techniques that make simple ingredients extraordinary. That influence runs through everything I make. I also believe in real stock, real ingredients, and never reaching for a powder when the actual thing takes the same amount of time.
I own the CIA Professional Chef textbook and I work through it seriously. Cooking is not a hobby I do casually, it is one of the ways I take care of my family, and I treat it that way.
The name comes from caelum (sky, in Latin) and luna (moon): two things that have marked time and season for women across every culture. It felt right for a space about living well through every phase of life, not just the ones that are easy.

I only recommend products I would genuinely stand behind: supplements I have researched thoroughly, kitchen tools I would actually use, books worth reading. My editorial standards do not change based on affiliate relationships.
